Dark worlds – experience the underground history of Berlin

The non-profit association Berliner Unterwelten e. V. was founded in 1997 with the goal of advancing the exploration, documentation and preservation of the underground facilities in Berlin. Due to the large number of remaining buildings, its focus is on civil air-raid protection during the Second World War. However, the members of the association also devote themselves to installations without a military background, such as sewers, inner-city pneumatic post, underground brewery relics or unfinished underground stations.
