Nils Boesel is an investment officer at the European Investment Fund (EIF), focusing on synthetic and cash securitisation transactions in Southern Europe and the Nordics.

Prior to joining EIF, Nils worked for the Deutsche Bundesbank and the European Central Bank where he was involved with the set-up and implementation of the Eurosystem’s monetary policy purchase programmes, with a particular focus on the Asset-Backed Securities Purchase Programme.

Nils is an economist, holding a Research Master’s Degree from Utrecht University and Bachelor’s Degrees from Sun Yat-sen University and Ingolstadt School of Management.
