Stephan-Götz Richter is Director of the Berlin-based Global Ideas Center and the publisher and editor-in-chief of The Globalist, the daily online magazine on the global economy, politics and culture. He frequently appears in the ARD Presseclub.

He also advises clients on strategic communication, issue management and global thought leadership matters. His expertise centers on ESG communications and reputation management, with a particular focus on sustainability, competitiveness and democracy. Mr. Richter received the Polish Cross of the Order of Merit in 2014, for his work in support of democracy in Poland. A lawyer by training, he lived and worked in Washington, D.C. for 25 years.
