 Ullrich Hartmann Ullrich Hartmann is a Partner in our Banking and Capital Markets practice in Frankfurt. He is PwC's Sustainable Finance Leader in Germany and EMEA as well as PwC's Head of FS Compliance in Germany. He holds a diploma in business administration and is a Certified Public Accountant (Wirtschaftsprüfer) as well as a Tax Advisor (Steuerberater). Ullrich Hartmann has specialised in regulatory advisory and audit services since 1998 and has more than 20 years of audit and advisory experience in the financial sector with a focus on regulatory requirements. Together with his team he has developed tools to drive Sustainable Finance, MiFID II and Basel III/IV projects in an effective way, including a gap analysis tool, capital planning tools, etc. Since 2011, Ullrich is the Chairman of the PwC EMEA MiFID Steering Committee. Furthermore, he leads the “FAW” (German Securities Trading Law /MiFID) working group and is a member of the Sustainable Steering Committee of the IDW (Institute of Public Auditors in Germany) and maintains various contacts with local and international regulators.
