Dr. Tilmann Roth joined Deutsche Bundesbank in 2015. Since then he has mainly focussed on contributing to the further development of the general regulatory and supervisory framework for securitisations as well as the specific framework for STS securitisations.

Mr Roth has more than 20 years of experience in the regulation of financial markets, gained both in the banking industry and in the European public sector. He started his career in credit risk management with a leading investment bank in London and New York.

Mr Roth holds a PhD in law. He has published widely on banking, insurance and investment law topics.
